While you may be an event administrator you do not necessarily have organiser responsibility for each individual, dated event. When you create a new, dated event your are automatically assigned the organiser of that event. Other event administrators will not be and so will not see your new event. This could happen to you!
The reason it works like this is that often an event administrator does not want the clutter of seeing all the individual events from a series when others have been assigned the task of organising them. But sometimes, you may want to reverse that and make sure you are seeing all the events for a series.
You can do this by identifying the affiliate and series in Manage series and then choosing the Administrators tab. Here you'll have a Set and a Reset button.
- The Set button will make you organiser of all events for this series
- The Reset button will take away your organiser status on all events for the series EXCEPT those where you are the only organiser - every event must have at least one organiser and so you can't be taken away in those cases.
