What does the ROLLOVER button do?

Rolling over an event is an automated way to finish one event and set up the next one when dealing with regular events that follow one after the other. Typically used for leagues but can be used for any tournament that you may run on a very regular basis.

Here's what happens when you press the rollover button:

• If there is a completed event it is moved into archived
• If there is an in play event it is moved into completed
• If there is an open event it is moved into in preparation
• If there is a pending event it is moved into open
• A new event set to span a month following the now open event is created and set into the pending state

Naturally all this could be done manually but rollover is a fast and easy way to prepare for the next recurring event. Having rolled over, you'll want to complete what ever preparations you need to make for the event in in preparation and then manually progress this to the next stage - in play.
