Almost all activities, bookings and matches that a club hosts are represented in MMM under some kind of event. "Event" is a very broad term in MMM where any single event is customised to quite a detailed degree to fully reflect what the event actually is. This series of articles categorises the complete set of events that a club may host and explains how each can be set up so that members can easily participate and the club can easily manage.
Due to the configurability of Events, this list is not exhaustive as other activities could very likely be modelled by tweaking various event settings. Most of these settings are made in Manage Series.
A Series is essentially the core definition of a type of event. An Event is the occurrence of an event type (a series) at a certain time or period. Thus many events can be created off the same series - all these events would have the same features.
