Overview
To allow club-sanctioned members to manage their own group for regular social play on a number of courts.
The mini-club event is set up as a Next-gen event upon club implementation (for each sport).
The club sets each group up as required/requested by a member, curating the courts that may be booked out for their purposes
Setting up
Normally done by MMM implementations team:
- Menu option New Next-gen event
- Filter on club, sport and name "Mini-club"
- Click on relevant entry and confirm
The club must then set up each group on request:
- Select the event in the Groups tab of Manage clubs
- Click on Add a new group and:
- Change the name as required
- Nominate the group leader
- Optionally restrict court availability by selecting a court set in the Courts prompt. The court set needs to have been prepared in the Court sets tab under Manage courts
- If you wish the group leader to be charged directly for court fees, untick Use this groups account for court block bookings & session fees
Each group leader will then be able to book some or all the courts in the name of their group in My bookings. If they wish to engage their group by having them sign on to each session and to manage the bookings in a more controlled way the group leader can use the group management features under My groups. There they will be able to nominate participants, set and collect participation fees and set up sessions allowing participants to indicate their attendance each time.
