For a county league type event, your team will have a set of fixtures, both home and away. For every fixture you need to establish who, from your squad, you intend to play and in what order (first player, second player etc).
First of all, you should encourage members of your squad to indicate themselves whether they are available for a fixture. They can indicate their willingness/availability for any fixture by ticking off that fixture in the Fixtures tab for the team - accessed via the Teams main menu option. MMM will also prompt them on the home page a week prior to any fixture in the "For my attention" panel.
You can also add them into the line-up of any fixture by bringing up the Line-up window. You get access to this by the following path:
- Select Teams main menu option
- Select the leagues event and your team in the drop-down's presented
- Select the Fixtures tab
- Click on the blue up arrow against the desired fixture to drill down into that fixture only*
- Click the Line-up button in the fixture panel presented
You can add and remove players for the line-up in the window that pops up. If you have a player not in your squad, you'll have to add them into the squad first. Use the up and down arrows to set the order. The line-up order is initially ordered as per your squad, should players have indicated themselves to be in the line-up. Once both team captains have set their line up you can then create the individual matches.
If you have doubles match to set up, follow this article that explains how you can do that.
Once you have set your line up you must hit Confirm to save it.
Important note: Both teams must nominate a full line-up - even if the team cannot present their full set of players at the time, they must set a designated line up. This will then provide the opportunity to score a match as a walkover should one or more members of the line up fail to turn up. Indeed, if a team completely fails to play, a walkover for the fixture may be claimed, in which case all individual matches must be scored as a walkover.
* Please be aware that squad members (non deputies) will see a blue down arrow that takes them immediately to the line-up window. You have an extra step here as it takes you to the match screen first that allows you to review and score the match. Non deputised squad members cannot change the line up apart from adding or removing themselves.
