Team accounting

A team can maintain its own club balance so that expenditure related to that team can be independently managed. This facility is set up automatically when you create a team in the Teams tab of Manage clubs.

For each team you can choose to have court bookings made on its behalf charged to this account. By default, block bookings for team matches are charged to the captain. Tick the Use this teams club account for court booking fees option to change this.

Apart from charging court fees to the team account, team members may transfer funds from their account into the team account in My teams. Also, the team captain may transfer  funds from the team account back into a team members account.

The team captain my review the balance and transaction history of their team account at any time in My teams as can a club official from the Teams tab in Manage clubs.

The team account can be used to purchase food and drink from the bar. in the bar system, each team account is in the name of the team captain (so this will duplicate their personal account) but also has a clear additional indication of what team the account relates to so this can be chosen on the till for payments.
