Getting smart about your invitations gives you a range of benefits.
You'll get a whole new page called My invitations that focusses purely on your invitations. It's a higher level, weekly view where you can clearly see when you've invited and when you're booked to play. In one screen, one week at a time, you can see and adjust your sporting commitments.
You'll also be introduced to a new concept: My availability. This allows you to set a typical schedule for a whole week. For example, if you generally can't play during the week-days, not all day Sunday and not on Friday evenings you can say so.
Why bother with setting My availability? A few reasons: It will significantly reduce the clutter you see on your screens when you are setting up invites, reviewing court schedules and responding to invites; You can choose to have ManageMyMatch only show you options that overlap with your general availability. Your invitations indicator will only alert you of invites that fall within your preferred times. You'll be able set invites for a whole period as per your availability. For example if you're free all afternoon next Wednesday you can block invite for all courts in that afternoon with one click in My invitations.
You'll also be able to set other preferences that will tailor ManageMyMatch's behaviour towards you. Remember that by issuing invites you are open to have a match booked for you. For example, by indicating your preferred number of matches you'd like to play on a monthly basis, ManageMyMatch will not book you up on friendlies beyond that limit (you can still accept or setup matches beyond that limit). Or by setting your preferences for your tolerance to play in succession, ManageMyMatch will intelligently auto-cancel invitations depending on your existing match times. You can even indicate which courts you prefer or specify courts that you want to completely avoid.
It won't take long to configure things in My preferences so that ManageMyMatch is personalised to behave just the way you want, resulting in your reliably getting matches at the times you want without ever having to chase people up, email people or risk an unplayed court fee. It takes all the hassle out of getting the number of games you like to play with the right people month after month.
