When you invite people for a match the window that pops up gives you a choice of which events you wish to include. Against each is a set of icons that allow you to refine who you invite.
For each you can click the red no entry icon to exclude that event completely from the invitation.
Otherwise, for tournaments and leagues you can click the green tick icon to include all the your possible opponents.
For friendlies you have more options:
- Orange people icon - invite your best buddies only
- Small red dot - invite people who are closely matches with you
- medium sized orange dot - invite people within a reasonable ability range from you
- large blue dot - invite more people but some may be quite a bit better/worse than you
Depending on what you choose the green button will show the total number of people getting invited. Click on that and you'll get a little pop-up listing who those people actually are.
The last icon is a loud hailer icon. This indicates whether you want to message all the invitees directly. By default this is turned off. But you can turn it on for any or all of the events on which you are inviting. A message is sent to all invitees when you click the blue confirm button if you selected the load hailer.
If your invitation is more than 3 days out or involves more than 35 people then this option is not available.
Use this sparingly as you can send many invites out for different times and you do not want to spam members with messages every time. ManageMyMatch encourages members not to sit around and wait for an email from others who have bothered to go in and set up invites. If every-one sets up invites and/or checks into ManageMyMatch when they feel like playing then messages/emails for invitations should not really be necessary.
Finally, the best buddy option is useful if you only want to invite your own circle of friends to a match. You can set up and maintain a best buddy list in the My buddies page.
