A club may offer several levels of subscription or memberships. These are defined in the Products tab of Manage Clubs. A subscription is a type of product that restricts a member to holding only one at a time. Please refer to this article that describes all attributes of a product or subscription.
In summary, a subscription can last for any period (typically a year) and can be either on a rolling basis (i.e. starts the day the member buys it) or on an anniversary (e.g. starts on a specific month each year).
Subscriptions are the principle means by which a member gains rights or access to club facilities. Court access is one such example. So which courts are available when and how much the members pays for them are specified on each subscription set up.
Subscriptions are also typically restricted to certain age groups or members that live further afield. Again these attributes are set up on the subscription.
The fee structure must also be given. This includes options for how a member might be given discounts based on , for example, timely payment or family membership.
When a member comes to buy a subscription they only see choices that are applicable and ManageMyMatch will do all the calculations in terms of the cost and discounts to be applied. The subscription is only applied once the member has paid.
Some subscriptions might be free. For example honorary memberships. A member is never shown free memberships and these must be a applied by a club official on behalf of the member.
