Most products or subscriptions purchased by members are applied as a result of the member choosing and paying for it.
However products or subscriptions that are free must be applied by a club official. Also, if a product or subscription has been paid for outside of ManageMyMatch then club officials must apply it to the member.
To apply a product to a member go to Manage Members, choose the member in question and select the Product tab. For family members you must always go via the family head. All family member products and subscription are purchased or applied from the family head's account.
The Products tab shows a similar screen to what the member sees when they go to My subscriptions to buy a subscription. With a few important differences:
- Zero priced products and subscriptions are available to choose
- By choosing to relax eligibility rules, products and subscriptions that would normally be considered unavailable to the member become available to choose
- Indication as to how or if the member has paid for the product
Point number 3 is more involved. Applying a product never involves any physical payment. Thus, by default, if no indication is given as to how the member is paying for the product it will attract a full discount such that it is applied without charge.
However, the club official may nominate either an amount that has been received by other means (e.g. cheque) or to use the members club balance to fund the product. Or a combination. If the funds available (i.e. the amount input as received by other means plus the available funds the member has on credit) is not enough to meet the cost of the product then the remainder will be discounted off. If it is above the cost of the product then the product will be applied at full cost.
