Consent management

Every club or organisation may opt in to have ManageMyMatch manage parental/guardian consent for juniors (defined as those under 18). To opt in, tick the Seek consent for juniors to participate in events option in Manage affiliates.

Once switched on, all family heads (or independents who are under 18) will be able to respond to specific consent questions for family members under 18 (or themselves if under 18). This is accessed via the Junior consent tab in My account.

Any unanswered consent questions for club members only will be summarised to draw attention for the need to address. While this is the case, the user will get reminders every few days to complete the consent forms. In addition, the user will get an annual reminder to review the consent forms. Only once a reconfirmation has been made and all responses are given, will the reminders cease.

The club or organisation can review the state of everyone's consent under the Consent tab of Manage affiliates. There you can filter on activity or sport and/or for those participating in any specific event. A summary is presented as to the state of consent with respect to event participation, medical situations and photography/media opportunities.

Anyone with an incomplete or expired consent is highlighted and you are given the opportunity to message the family head asking for them to review. This is indicated with a red 'gavel' warning button.

For convenience, this same button is also shown, if necessary, for event organisers when reviewing joiners in the event joiners and draw creation tab of Manage draws or for coaches and other group leaders in the Group or Team tab of My groups or My teams.

Where consent is required, ManageMyMatch will not allow new or the renewal of a membership for a junior (under 18) until their consent form is complete. This is clearly indicated in My subscriptions with immediate access to the form for completion.

• Local (club) event participation
• Competitive match play participation possibly involving other venues
  • Travel insurance acceptance
• Medical declaration
  • Details (same as those provided in My account)
  • Commitment to inform of changes
  • Permission to administer treatment
• Photography/media permission
