Typically, you can use the club's kiosk screen to request some immediate actions like getting extra light to finish your match. But you can also use your mobile phone if you like.
To use your mobile, you must have allowed location detection for MMM because these actions only become available when MMM detects that you are physically at the club - you can't simply ask for the lights to be switched on if you're not there!
To double check you've enabled location detection go to the Password/Access tab of My account. There's a panel at the bottom of this page entitled Location detection. There it will tell you the current state and give you the option to switch it on if it's off.
Here's a list of the capabilities you could then be given on your home page (in a panel called Live court options). These only appear if you are a member of the club:
- Get extra light. You'll either be able to book more time on the following booking slot of a current match you're playing or simply book some playing time on a free court
- Swap courts. You can swap your currently booked court for another free one. Or you can extend, change or reduce the courts booked for a group event in which you are participating (e.g. a club night)
- Confirm lights. If court lights require confirmation prior to play, you'll be able confirm your presence/use of the court.
- Join event. If there's a current or impending group event that you are participating in but have not yet signed up for on MMM, you can do so here at the time of the session.
- Control lights. You may have permission to control lights irrespective of bookings in which case the option to switch them on or off will be provided.
- Mark a match. Any matches that are about to be played and for which you have some connection/interest in will be presented for you to either appoint yourself or another to mark.
