How & when are my court booking fees collected?

ManageMyMatch will charge your court fee at the end of the booked court session. You will only be charged your share of the fee. The charge will be against your club credit account. If you do not have enough credit you will alerted and advised to top up your credit. The charge will then be made when credit is available.

Court fees are charged as appropriate to each match participant. You don't need to transfer credit or hand cash to your opponents to split a court fee. They will be directly charged by the system just as you are.

You'll get a notification of every charge made to your account at the time it happens.

Since transactions can be initiated by almost anyone and typically involve multiple parties, there is a hypothetical situation that could develop where a player is erroneously named against a court booking and therefore ends up being falsely charged. MMM has built in some protections against this potential situation.

Here are some scenarios that show how and when MMM processes split court fee transactions:

Friendlies. Note, “anyone can play anyone” in a friendly. When someone is named by someone else to play a friendly, MMM expects the named person to explicitly accept this. This is made clear within the notification and on the MMM dashboard.

• If the named player accepts ahead of the match MMM takes that as an acceptance and charges both parties at the end of the court session.
• If either player enters a result of the match MMM takes that as confirmation that a match took place between two players and charges all participants at the time of the score entry.
• If the named player does not accept/confirm the booking or enter a score, MMM charges all parties anyway after 3 days of waiting. The wait period exists as a courtesy and a time for the booking to be disputed if necessary.

Organised events. In a box league or club tournament it’s assumed that since this is preordained that it’s fine to charge all participants equally, even without express acknowledgement from all participants. The charge is taken from all at the end of the court session itself.
