Setting up a booking schedule for a regular group activity (e.g. coaching)

Certain events support the concept of groups or teams. In particular, it may be that some group sessions (like coaching) need to be scheduled on a regular basis. Or it may be that the club only allows some group sessions to occur on particular days or times. This restriction can be set by a club official against any group where block booking is enabled.

Select the Groups or Teams submenu from within Manage clubs. You will then need to "Select the context" in which the group is set. This may be something like "squad coaching" as an example. All the groups under this context will then be listed and you can choose any one to see the details of the group including its name and who the leader/captain is.

If the group belongs in your club (for a team context you'd see teams that belong in other clubs) you can change these settings - though generally you won't need to as the group leader/team captain can change these themselves. But a further detail cannot be changed by a group leader/team captain: Courts.

For Courts, you can specify a court set. A court set identifies what courts can be used at what times on specific week days (see this article). If you select a court set here then the group leader or team captain will be restricted to only being able to book courts for group sessions at the times given by the court set.
