From July 2020, yes, this is very easy. Previously you'd have to dig into your Stripe account to get reporting on credits coming into the club and the fees being applied. But now there is a much easier report in MMM than summarises this on a monthly basis. Just go to the MMM fees tab in Manage Clubs.
There you will see one line item per month (only going back to July 2020, however) giving:
- Total turnover of funds arriving, via MMM, into the club
- Total of MMM's turnover fees that have been taken from that turnover
- Total of MMM's membership fees that have accrued (If applicable)
- Total of your Stripe fees that have accrued (if applicable)
Turnover mostly represents funds paid in by members when topping up, buying a subscription or joining a prepaid event for example. But another source of funds is where a member transfers money from one club to another. The club receiving the money will be charged fees as appropriate and this will be included in their turnover. For the other club, however, money is being taken away and so this is a reduction of turnover (the money was never used for club services) and their turnover will be reduced (and they will pay no fees on that money).
It is also possible for members to extract funds from their club account via a personal Stripe account. This will typically be the case for coaches who get paid by members through their club account. Because this ends up as money not spent with the club, funds extracted in this manner are also not counted as club turnover and the club will again not pay any fees on this money.
Finally, money received from members by other means (e.g. bank transfer or cash) is never seen by ManageMyMatch even though you most likely will reflect that income as a credit on their club account. This income is not counted as part of the turnover and never attracts any fees.
If the club is being charged membership fees, these will be taken from incoming funds (and accrued as a balance on ManageMyMatches account with the club) which are part of the overall turnover. However, Stripe or Turnover fees will not apply to the paid membership fees. To be clear, the club is not charged twice. Membership fees are paid from the turnover without other fees applying.
