How do I refund a Stripe payment back to a member?

This can be done in two steps

1. Login to your Stripe dashboard and refund a payment
2. Login into ManageMyMatch and debit the members club balance by the amount refunded

Instructions for each are as follows.

Login to your Stripe dashboard and refund a payment

• Log into Stripe and select Payments
• locate the payment to be refunded and click on it
• Check the meta data panel for this payment to make sure you have the right person
• Click the Refund button top right
• In the popup window:
  • Select the refund amount if less than the total charged
  • Tick Refund application fee
  • Hit the Refund confirmation button

login into ManageMyMatch and debit the members club balance by the amount refunded

• Log into ManageMyMatch and select Manage members
• Locate the member and open out the panel to show their details
• Select the Transactions tab
• Click the orange Adjust members credit balance button and in the popup window:
  • Select Debit
  • Select Refunded to card using Stripe dashboard
  • Enter the amount you refunded
  • Explain why in the Reason prompt
  • Click Confirm
