Matches typically consist of many games, though it's quite possible to configure a match such that it only involves one game (for example a time-limited game). The final score of a match is given as a number of points given to each player. The player with the most points is the winner. If both players have the same number of points the match is considered a draw.
These methods have gradually built up on an as needed basis; Where one of these does not fit your requirements (at least not substantially) we can consider adding a new format as required.
There are a number of options to choose from to decide how the score of a match is calculated. This is set in the Match configuration panel in Manage series, under the prompt Method used to score match. Most of the choices indicate 3 reasons to score a match point:
- play: n - n points if at east 1 game was played
- game: n - n points for every game won
- sets: n - n points for every set won
- win: n+m/o - n bonus points if the match was won based on the above and m bonus points if your opponent won no games, or o points if your opponent won just 1 game
In addition, points are awarded for walk-overs (wo) is indicated
