Fees for coaching are always transacted through the coaching group that represents your list of clients that are engaging in coaching with you. Having selected your coaching group in My groups you can press the Balance button to review the current balance held on account for the group as well as a list of all transactions that make up that balance.
You can pay into the group balance (as can any member) by clicking on the Pay button. This transfers your entered amount from your personal club account into the group account. Conversely, as the leader of the group, you can choose to transfer all or part of the group balance back to your personal club account by clicking on the Refund button in the header of the member listing. You can even choose to transfer funds to any member using the Refund button to the right of their name in the member listing. In short, you have complete control over the funds held in the group account.
Coaching fees are always automatically paid by a transfer of funds from the client's personal club account to your group account at the time of the coaching session.
If you have elected to set up prepay discounts your clients may elect to buy more than one session up front. Clients can quickly and easily choose to do this in their My groups page and the number of prepaid sessions outstanding for each client will be always listed for you on this page. The fee (appropriately calculated with the relevant discounts) will be transferred immediately to you. When the client takes part in a session they will not be charged (but their prepay tally will be reduced). Note that any club commission will still be taken based on the full price of the session. The client may also still be charged a visitors fee (if a non member and required by the club) and standard court levies if applicable. In other words, it is only your fee that is prepaid.
At intervals, you'll want to get the money collected back into your bank account. In order to be able to do this you must set up a personal stripe account. Refer to this article explaining how to do this. Once this has been done you'll be given the opportunity to transfer funds from the group account directly to your bank (via Stripe) when you click the Refund button in the header of the member listing. Alternatively, you could still transfer funds to your personal club account and then transfer from there back to your bank account. Either way will work.
Court fees are treated differently depending whether your coaching is on an individual basis or a group basis. For individual bookings, the client pays the court fee directly to the club. For group session bookings the club is paid the booking fees out of your group account. Booking fees are, in both cases, set by the club (and may also include a light fee) and could be set to no fee all. As a separate issue, the club may take a percentage cut of your coaching fee. This fee represents a charge for the use of the club's facilities in general though it is recognised that you and the club may refer to it as a court fee. For any percentage cut, that fee is always taken from the group account as part of the transaction that is the client's payment for the coaching (which is a transfer from their personal club account to the group account). It is taken at the time of the coaching even if the client has prepaid (i.e. it is not taken at the time the client prepays). The club's commission is always based on your standard fee and not on the discounted amount.
