To encourage your clients and to build up demand for your coaching services, you can offer discounts to clients if they prepay for their sessions.
You do this in the Details popup in My groups. You can set either or both of two schemes:
- Buy X and get 1 free scheme - for example you could offer one free coaching session for every 5 prepaid.
- % discount - a simple % discount on your standard coaching fee for every session prepaid
Once you've set a discounting scheme up, your clients will get a clear prompt to prepay in their My groups page. ManageMyMatch will let them choose a limited number of sessions and will calculate the discounted price. On acceptance the full amount will be immediately transferred to you and they will clearly see the number of prepaid sessions that are available to them. In your view, you will see the outstanding number of prepaid sessions that all your clients have bought (per client).
If you are planning on a limited number of sessions you need to set this in the Details screen to prevent your clients from buying more sessions than you are planning to give.
When your client takes part in a session their outstanding count will simply be reduced by one and no further fee will be taken.
The prepay capability is only available to your clients when you've offered some kind of discount. However, whether you do or not does not affect your ability to set any number of "free" sessions for any client. You can do this if you press the Prepaid button against their entry under the Group tab of My groups. In effect, this is simply setting a new number of outstanding prepaid sessions the client has on record. This allows you full flexibility should your clients choose to pay by other means or simply to award them with a free session for some other reason. Due care should be taken to do this in collaboration with the client as their outstanding prepaid sessions may well have been payed for and simply reducing this amount without justification would not be advisable.
