Individual coaching sessions can be booked against any one of your coaching groups (though having just one group would the usual case). Refer to this article on how to set up a coaching group. Booking a coaching session is just like booking any court. In the Booking centre you click in the court and time you want to book and select Choose a player against your group from the drop down menu. You would do this if you had already made the arrangement with your client. Conversely, your client will have a similar option (though they would only be able to choose you as the coach) using the same technique (your preferences must be set, however - see below). The client will see the booking with a fee that includes both the court fee and your fee. As in other circumstances (like when you book a court for a friendly match), whoever has not made the booking is notified and asked to confirm that they are happy with the booking.
Your client, however, will only be able to book a session with you at times you have declared as being available in your preferences. Not only that, the court must also be marked as one of your "preferred" courts. So you must set your Preferences in My account.
As the coach you can also invite all your clients to take up a booking for coaching. Again, the process is exactly the same when you invite players to any match. Click on the court you want to book and choose Invite others to play. The subsequent popup is the standard invitation window allowing you to choose who you want to invite. This will include the possibility that you are inviting for matches you might be involved with just like any other club member. But as a coach you will also see an option that invites your coaching clients. If you only want this booking to be taken up by coaching clients, make sure you click the cross on any other reasons for match play. You'll see how many are being invited (your client list) and you can choose to send an immediate notification to them all by unblocking the loud hailer button.
Your clients will be able to take up your coaching offer just like they can take up offers for match play. Either from the Booking centre or from the Invitations panel on the home screen. There they will see a dedicated entry for your coaching offers and they'll be able to accept the invitation from there too.
ManageMyMatch has a very sophisticated invitation system that allows you to invite members/clients to play/be coached on multiple occasions. This can be done with courtless invitations. Instead of booking a court and inviting as described earlier, you can click on the invite button to the left of all the courts. The same invitation window appears, but this time the invitation is for the time only and no court is actually booked. Your club will limit the number of open bookings you can make with a court blocked out. But there is no limit to the number of courtless invites you can make. So you can use this mechanism to advertise your availability for coaching for many times and many days going forward. Since this capability is the same as that available to all members when inviting match play, please refer to all the articles on the extensive invitations feature in ManageMyMatch. There you will also discover even more capabilities within the My invitations page where you can invite for multiple times at the click of a single button.
When your client takes up your coaching invitation for a courtless invite, they will be prompted as to which (of those available) court they would like to use. In other words, the court is only actually booked once your client accepts the invitation.
